Holy fuck. Ugly Kid Joe seriously covered “Cats In The Cradle”

I totally missed this because I used to be super cool. I’m posting this out of complete amazement. I haven’t managed to watch the whole thing yet because I keep getting weirded out and whatever the opposite of emotional is.

I’m way too excited for the first rain on our new patio. Plastic table/chairs are a gift from Reynolds. Mini ramp to come soon! Maybe for my birthday, wink wink wink.

The E Fantasy Football Podcast

Starting a fantasy football podcast (perhaps, we’ll see, I’d have to find my microphone and see if I even like doing it) in which I talk to myself about my fantasy football teams. I would love to answer questions on the podcast or perhaps even answer those questions on this tumblr or a new one I start.

If you have any fantasy football questions - about your team or in general - send them to theEfantasypodcast @ gmail dot com.

Here’s an example of the type of question you could ask:

Yo, The E. What are your thoughts on A.J. Green or Julio Jones this year?! Thanks, Cory Duncan.

Here’s an example of my response:

Cory, I like A.J. and Julio this year and could see drafting either for my bench, but do not like where both are being drafted, on average. AJ is going higher than Julio in most drafts, around the 9th round with Julio going a few picks after that. Sometimes they go back-to-back which always makes me laugh really hard. Yes, both have huge upside but too many risks to be taken that early. AJ Green could be the Bengals best WR and the Bengals will probably be behind a lot and need quick scores but he has rookie Andy “Dumdum” Dalton at QB and he plays for the Bengals. Julio is going to be the number 2 on an explosive offensive team, but Roddy White, one of the best receivers in the game, will still get the majority of throws/catches. But I could also see that as a plus since every Falcons’ opponents will put their best DB on White, perhaps even a few double teams. This could allow Jones to get open and he could definitely have huge games. If the Falcons play the Eagles or Jets (don’t know for sure) and Nnamdi and Revis Island shut-down White, Jones could go off. However, there are so many options for Matt Ryan that Julio could also have his share of 3 catch games too. More than anything though, the downside to both is that they are rookies.

I’d consider both sleepers to be taken in late rounds to be a 4th or 5th WR on your team, definitely riding the bench early on the season until you see their numbers.  Where they are being drafted, Johnny Knox, Plaxico, Steve Smith, Lance Moore, Jordy Nelson (to name a few) may still be on the board, in which case, I’d much rather have any one of them. If AJ or Julio are there at 12th round or later, sure, they can ride my bench. At that pick, they can truly be considered a sleeper.

So email me your fantasy football questions and I’ll get you an answer via podcast, blog, or personal email. It would help me out to help you out.
